On your device and in your account
With you offline, and in your account for your other devices. Turn the copy off and it is deleted from the server at that moment.
No more deadlines out of the blue.
Tell it what you do for a living and Mis Obligaciones suggests your calendar for the year: every form, every contribution and every due date. You review it, and it reminds you before the day comes, not the day after.
Today, in the browser. iPhone and Android on the way.
The list
A single list, sorted by what falls due first and grouped by how pressing it is: overdue items first, because they are the only ones already costing money.
Self-employed or company, VAT (IVA) scheme, employees, rented premises: from your answers we suggest the forms for the year and the reason for each one. You remove and add. And if it has a date, it fits: the town hall fee too.
“Faltan 6 días” (6 days left) is easier to take in than a date. And if it is already overdue, it says so: “Venció hace 2 días” (was due 2 days ago).
One tap and it moves to filed, with the date you did it. Whatever does not concern you is marked “no me aplica” (does not apply to me) and stops bothering you.
The form, the period, the amount and your notes, with a link to the official page of each form. The suggestion is a starting point: what stays on the list is up to you.
Reminders
By default, a week before each due date and the day before. Enough time to gather your invoices or to write to your gestoría (tax adviser’s office), which is when a reminder is actually useful.
Two by default, because more would be noise. If you want others, a daily reminder as it gets close, or none at all, you can change it for all of them or just for one.
No server sends them: they are worked out from what you have noted down, so they work offline and nobody outside needs to know what you owe.
On your phone they will go off even with the app closed. In the browser, while you have the tab open.
Privacy
What you note down is stored on your device and opens offline. There is also a copy in your account so you can see it on all your devices, and if you do not want it, you turn it off and it is deleted from the server.
With you offline, and in your account for your other devices. Turn the copy off and it is deleted from the server at that moment.
They are worked out on your device, so the server does not need to know what you file, when or for how much.
No advertising and no advertising cookies. Google Analytics statistics, here and in the app, only if you accept them, and they never see your obligations.
Your account, together with the copy of everything you have noted down, is deleted from within the app itself, on the spot. No writing to anyone, no waiting for a reply.
Where
The same list on both, through the copy in your account. On the big screen you note things down calmly; on your phone is where the reminder arrives.
Ready to use now, with nothing to install.
On the way to the App Store and Google Play.
Later, as a desktop app.
The official information, at hand
The tax calendar for the year, a guide to each form with links to the official website, and examples of who files what. All copied from the official calendars, with the date they were checked.
From the official taxpayer’s calendar. In the Canary Islands, the Basque Country and Navarre the deadlines are different: they are in their own calendar.
Questions
No. Mis Obligaciones suggests your calendar, reminds you before things fall due and takes you to the official page of each form, but the filing is done by you (or your gestoría, your tax adviser’s office) on the relevant authority’s website. It does not connect to the Agencia Tributaria (AEAT, the Spanish Tax Agency) or to the Seguridad Social, and it is no substitute for an adviser. Marking something as filed here is a note for yourself, not an official step.
It suggests the ones that usually apply to someone like you, with the reason for each (“you have employees, so the 111”), based on your answers and on the official calendar of your tax authority: the national one, the Canary Islands one or the foral one (Basque Country and Navarre). It is a suggestion, not advice: your case may have exceptions that a questionnaire cannot see, so you review it before accepting it and, if you have an adviser, you show it to them.
Today, nothing. If one day there is a paid plan it will be explained here and in the terms, and whatever you have already noted down will still be yours.
Not for what matters: what you note down is on your device and the reminders are worked out by it. You need a connection to sign in on a device for the first time and for the copy to reach your other devices.
Yes: what you note down is copied to your account and you have it on every device you sign in on, merged field by field, so changing one thing on your phone and another on your computer overwrites nothing. If you would rather everything stayed only on each device, turn the copy off in Settings and it is deleted from the server.
You. The copy travels encrypted and is stored on the server, where technically whoever runs it could read it: that is why it can be turned off, and why reminders do not go through it. It is not sold, not shared and not used to train anything. It is all in the privacy policy.
It is on the way. Today you can use it in the browser, where reminders go off while the tab is open; on your phone they will go off even with the app closed.
Because the only thing that should stand out on the screen is what is late. With no colours competing, urgency is read in the black: the darker, the less it can wait. And so that it does not depend on that alone, each status also has its own icon and its own word.
Open your account, note down the first form with its date and forget about it until it reminds you.
